What is Lagakade?

Lagakade is a local product discovery platform for Sri Lanka. You search for a product, we show you nearby shops that list it as in stock, and you can reserve it online and pick it up in store. There are no delivery fees and no waiting at home.

How do I find a product near me?

Type what you're looking for into the search bar and allow location access (or set your area manually). Lagakade lists shops within your chosen radius that have the item in stock, sorted by distance, so you can pick the closest one.

What does reserving a product mean?

A reservation is a request to the shop to hold an item for you — it is not a confirmed purchase and no payment is taken online. The shop typically holds it for up to 2 hours. You pay at the counter when you collect it.

Do I have to pay online?

No. Lagakade never takes payment online. You pay the shop directly — cash or card — when you pick up your item in store.

Is the stock information always accurate?

Stock and prices are entered and updated by shop owners. We show the latest information they provide, but we recommend confirming with the shop for high-value or urgent items. See our Terms of Use for details.

Is Lagakade free for customers?

Yes. Searching, browsing, and reserving products is completely free for customers. You only ever pay the shop for the items you buy.

Which languages does Lagakade support?

Lagakade is available in English, Sinhala (සිංහල) and Tamil (தமிழ்). Use the language switcher at the top right of any page to change your language.

How can I list my shop on Lagakade?

Register a shop-owner account, complete your shop profile, and start adding products. New shops get a 30-day free trial — no credit card needed. See the Pricing page for plan details.

How is my personal data handled?

We collect only what's needed to run the service and never sell your data. Your location is used only to find nearby shops and is not stored long-term. Read our Privacy Policy for the full details.
