Important — Please read before using Lagakade

Lagakade is a product discovery and reservation platform. We do not guarantee product availability, reservation fulfilment, or the accuracy of any stock information displayed. All reservations are agreements made directly between you and the shop owner.

1. About Lagakade

Lagakade is an online platform that allows customers to discover local retail shops in Sri Lanka and browse products listed as in-stock by those shops. Customers may submit a reservation request for a product. Lagakade acts as an intermediary only — we are not a seller, a retailer, or a party to any transaction between customers and shop owners.

2. Reservations — what they mean

When you make a reservation through Lagakade:

· You are sending a request to the shop owner to hold a product for you — not a confirmed purchase.
· Lagakade does not guarantee the shop owner will accept, honour, or hold the reservation.
· The shop owner may cancel your reservation at any time, for any reason.
· Reservations are typically held for up to 2 hours — however, this is at the shop owner's discretion, not enforced by Lagakade.
· No payment is taken through Lagakade. Payment occurs directly at the shop when you collect the item.
· If a product is sold before you arrive, Lagakade is not liable for the inconvenience or any costs incurred (e.g. travel).

3. Product information accuracy

Product listings — including prices, stock levels, and availability — are entered and managed entirely by shop owners. Lagakade does not verify, review, or update this information. We do not guarantee that any product listed is actually in stock, correctly priced, or available at the time you visit the shop. Always confirm availability directly with the shop if needed.

4. Lagakade's role and limitations

Lagakade provides a platform to discover and connect. We are not responsible for:

· The quality, safety, or authenticity of any product sold by a shop.
· A shop owner's failure to honour a reservation.
· Incorrect pricing or stock information listed by a shop owner.
· Any dispute between a customer and a shop owner.
· Any loss, inconvenience, or cost arising from a failed or unfulfilled reservation.
· The closure, relocation, or unavailability of any shop listed on the platform.

5. Shop owners

By registering as a shop owner on Lagakade, you agree to:

· Provide accurate and up-to-date product listings, prices, and stock information.
· Respond to reservations promptly and in good faith.
· Not engage in misleading, fraudulent, or deceptive listings.
· Not use customer contact details obtained through Lagakade for any purpose other than fulfilling a reservation.

Lagakade reserves the right to suspend or remove any shop that violates these terms or engages in conduct that harms customers or the platform.

6. User conduct

As a customer, you agree not to:

· Make reservations you do not intend to honour.
· Submit false or misleading information.
· Abuse or harass shop owners through the platform.
· Attempt to circumvent or manipulate the platform's systems.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Sri Lankan law, Lagakade and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to failed reservations, inaccurate product information, or disputes with shop owners. Use of Lagakade is at your own risk.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Lagakade after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms. We will notify registered users of significant changes by email.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Sri Lanka.
